The Lonza 4D-Nucleofector Core Unit is a controlling unit of the 4D-Nucleofector System used for transfection of cells with DNA, RNA, or other molecules.
It utilizes an electroporation-based technology called 4D-Nucleofector to transfect cells with high efficiency and precision.
Different functional units can be added in a modular way to the 4D-Nucleofector Core Unit and each is suited for different applications.
4D-Nucleofector LV Unit is used for large-scale transfection of up to 1x109 cells

The LV Unit allows for closed, scalable transfection of larger cell numbers in the range of 1x10 to the 7th to 1x10 to the 9th cells.
Transfection protocols can be established in smaller scale using the X Unit and subsequently transferred to the LV Unit without the need for re-optimization.
Transferability has been tested for various cell types, including human T cells, CHO-S, HEK293-S, or K562.
