Here is an Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical w/ Autofocus Pred. BX63

Currently setup for Brightfield, Darkfield, Reflective with Autofocus.

Warranty 30 days.

The addition of the U-AFA1M Motorized Active Laser based Autofocus unit on this microscope allows the user to quickly find the focal plane of the next sample which saves a considerable amount of time vs trying to manually focus to an unknown z axis dimension.
The Motorized Autofocus on this microscope will prove very useful during observation of the small PCB used in the demonstration. Refocusing on the solder points after viewing the surface of the IC chip was effortless with a press of the AF button.

Predecessor to:
BX63

Condition:
This Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical BX61TRF is in good working order with all aspects tested and fully working.

This Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical BX61TRF allows for motorized computer controlled image capture of material samples using reflective Brightfield and Darkfield. The CCD color digital camera in combination with STREAM software trial included with the laptop is able to take 3.3MP (2048 x 1536) images of the samples with basic measuring.

Video Description:
This video starts off with the full view of the Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical BX61TRF set up and running.
After a quick virtual tour of the Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical BX61TRF and its components the camera pans to the laptop to show the live feed from the CCD camera.
The image is out of focus but once the Autofocus is turned on with the software the image becomes clear.
After the image is focused the light path is switched from brightfield to darkfield and back to brightfield again.
Fine control of the XY motorized stage is then demonstrated using the joystick.
The motorized objective turret is then cycled to the 20x objective which auto adjusts to be in focus.
Then the 50x objective is selected and the live image then shows the valleys of the sample to be in focus.
The XY stage is once again manipulated to demonstrate fine control at this high magnification.
The 5X objective is selected and the video ends with a final full Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical BX61TRF view.

Olympus BX61 Microscope Motorized Metallurgical w/ Autofocus Pred. BX63 SOLDOUT

Manufacturer Description and Specification:

The Olympus BX61 Microscope has a built-in motorized Z-drive (0.01 m resolution), and can be equipped with a motorized nosepiece, condenser, reflected light or fluorescence illuminator, and up to three 6-position filter wheels in various locations. The sixteen handswitch buttons and eight frame buttons are fully programmable through a computer interface, and key configurations can be defined in the software.

The MicroSuiteTM software includes the ScopeView module for microscope control, and truly showcases the power of the microscope, enabling the user to quickly change between various modes of observation (transmitted brightfield or darkfield, phase contrast, DIC, polarized, fluorescence, and reflected brightfield or darkfield). A push of a button or a click of a mouse automatically sets up the microscope with the proper illumination and appropriate objectives, contrast inserts, filter cubes, and auxiliary filters. User-definable configurations with access privileges at various levels make this system an ideal choice for a multi-user facility. The MicroSuiteTM line of software comes in three versions: the Basic version, the Biological Suite, and the Materials Suite.

The result is a total imaging platform, all the way from image acquisition and processing, to data analysis, report generation, and database archiving to either a local or “global” network database. The combination of the BX61 microscope and the MicroSuiteTM imaging software is a completely integrated imaging solution system that will simplify your work and enhance your research.
