Microscope and optics have been professionally cleaned by our technicians under a class 10,000 clean room hood.

During testing this Leica DMi8 Fluorescence Motorized Phase Contrast Microscopewas found to have no issues.
A clear image was produced through the eyepieces as well as through the camera port.
All of the mechanical and motorized components moved freely and the test sample was able to be focused without excessive effort.

This Leica DMi8 Fluorescence Motorized Phase Contrast Microscope is currently set up for Brightfield Transmitted w/ Phase Contrast and Fluorescence Reflective.
This Leica DMi8 Fluorescence Motorized Phase Contrast Microscope is to be used for Biological studies on slides and in petri dishes as well as well plates.
This system running the MicroManager control software for detailed control, image acquisition, process, quantify and analysis.
The motorized XY can be controlled via software or LEP Joystick for fine movements and focal points. The Hamamatsu CCD camera is capable of detailed images and live feed viewing.

Video Description:
The video starts off with a full view of the entire Leica DMi8 Fluorescence Motorized Phase Contrast Microscope. The camera pans around showing all included components.
The motorized XY stage is moved showing on the live feed. The motorized Z-axis is shown bringing the sample into and out of focus.
The fluorescence illumination is shown rotating the filter cubes and illuminating the sample via fluorescence reflective illumination.
The sample is brought back into focus and there is one final view of the entire Leica DMi8 Fluorescence Motorized Phase Contrast Microscope.
