Mark and Find - Allows for defining of multi-position of a large number of cells within one experiment.
3D Advanced Basic - Allows for production of a short movie using saved frames which can be saved as AVI, QuickTime, MPEG-4, or Windows Media Video Files.
Time Lapse - Allows for images to be taken without intervention at predefined intervals. Control of Duration and number of cycles is also available.
Multi Channel Acquisition - Allows up to 8 acquisition channels per experiment
Z-control and Autofocus - Allows for acquisition of 3 dimensional data sets and one click autofocus of the sample.
Camera Driver - Allows for the addition of 3rd party cameras supported by LAS X.

Microscope and optics have been cleaned by our technicians under a class 10,000 clean room hood.

The Leica DMI6000 B Inverted Motorized Microscope system desktop running Windows 7 Pro (comes with Leica LAS AF software, dongle and recovery software)

The software capabilities include the following modules

The combination of the included modules allows the user to image fluorescence reflective or brightfield transmitted samples in a 4D setting. The autofocus function allows for quick selection of point you wish to set. In addition to xyz and time control the software also allows for multi point and channel selections. This means that the user is capable of taking multiple time lapse images during the same experiment using different filters, objectives, and light sources throughout. Finally the taken images can be edited into a movie for demonstration purposes.

Video Description:
The video starts off with a full view of the entire Leica DMI6000 B Inverted Motorized Microscope.
The camera pans to the components that are included. The live feed is shown again moving around from the Smart Move joystick.
The software is used to move the motorized objective turret then the Autofocus software is used to refocus the sample at 10x.
The reflective shutter is opened and the fluorescence filter cubes are moved into place showing illumination on the sample.
Halogen lamp turned back on and sample being shown moving in and out of focus. There is one final view of the entire Leica DMI6000 B Inverted Motorized Microscope.
